The course has been designed to give exposure to fundamentals of Computer System to Bachelors of Fisheries Science BFSc students in their second semester. The course gives an insight into the process of ICT and the requirements for establishing communication between a sender and receiver using different technologies. The course helps the students in understanding the basic concepts of computers and different components attached with it. The concept of data analysis is used by implementing the data analysis using MS-Excel in order to give hands on experience to students. The course also includes the different presentation tools available and how technology can be used to facilitate the process of communication in general.
The main aim of the course is equip students in order to apply computer science in their respective domains of Fisheries Sciences in general and in managing daily activities in particular.
